Development of the 1st Controller

Celebrates the development of the first traffic light intersection controller, put into service the following year on Avenue de Neuilly in Paris. From then on, the company's activity is exclusively devoted to light, urban and road signaling.

The start of three-color light signaling

At the beginning of the 1930s, the company began the construction of signaling equipment, and developed the marking of level crossings using panels equipped with reflectors.

First manufacturing workshop

André Garbarini, engineer from the higher school of electricity, created a workshop whose manufacture focused on refrigerators for boats and parabolic gas radiators. These latter will be marketed throughout Europe and will earn him numerous prizes and awards which will make him famous. André Garbarini also developed an arc searchlight for submarines, the great success of which resulted in the signing of the gold book by the British Admiralty.

Launch of the NEXO Roadside Unit (V2X)

Launch of the NEXO Roadside unit and start of V2X activity. NEXO enables secure communication between connected or autonomous vehicles with the intelligent infrastructure of the city or road. It is an essential element for the deployment of intelligent and cooperative transport systems which are at the heart of current urban and road mobility projects.

Acquisition of MULTITOLL

The acquisition of the assets of the company MULTITOLL allows FARECO to add toll systems to its road offering, and expands the scope of the company internationally.

On-board radars - Radar cars

Thanks to the program to equip 50% of red light crossing control systems in France, Fareco is taking on a new activity, automated control, gradually placing the company among the main players with the Ministry of the Interior (Road Safety Delegation).
