Green Reward controlled by timer:
1- If the vehicle respects the speed limit, it passes without stopping, because the instant of turning green is calculated in a fixed manner, according to the detection distance and the chosen reference speed.
2 - If the vehicle exceeds the speed, it must stop at the red light. In this case, an additional penalty is not possible for vehicles in serious violation.
Green Reward controlled by speed measurement:
1 - If the vehicle respects the speed limit, the moment it turns green is calculated according to its actual speed.
2 - If the vehicle exceeds the speed limit, it must stop at red. Additional red time is added proportionally to exceeding the speed. Speed measurement statistics are available to justify the installation of behavioral lights and to measure the effectiveness of the device in the long term.
