The Tram’Bus 1 project began in February 2017, with the aim of connecting Hauts-de-Bayonne to downtown Biarritz, the center of Bayonne, shopping centers, and downtown Anglet.
This 12 kilometer long route has 45 traffic light intersections managed by our Gallery controllers. To date, 90% of the intersections are operational. In January 2019, Fareco won the second Tram’Bus 2 line which includes 17 intersections connecting the towns of Anglet-Bayonne-Tarnos. The commissioning of these intersections is planned for January 2020.
For all of these 2 projects, FARECO was responsible for commissioning controllers, their programming, and carrying out an upstream functional study of the intersections, in order to adapt the duration of lights in relation to traffic. giving priority to the bus.
This ambitious project allowed us to stand out thanks to our skills in the field of traffic regulation.
