FARECO, recognized professional know-how

FARECO is a subsidiary of the FAYAT group specializing in urban and peri-urban road equipment and solutions:

  • French leader in three-color light signaling and expert in intelligent light controllers and priority management for public transport.
  • A key player in the field of traffic data collection, with numerous urban and road references from its counting stations.
  • Present in more than 20 countries through its toll systems, access control and electronic vehicle identification activities.
  • For a decade, it has been offering innovative automated control solutions: on-board mobile radars. This allowed Fareco to become one of the main suppliers to the Ministry of the Interior.

A technological shift to meet the challenges of intelligent mobility

Significant growth in recent years, more than 20% per year, has allowed us to focus on the future by devoting a significant part of its resources and skills to R&D and Projects.

Placing innovation at the heart of its strategy, FARECO has initiated a profound technological innovation shift in all its areas of activity. This allows FARECO to face the challenges of new mobility needs on the roads and in connected cities.

As a result of this approach, in 2018, FARECO presents two major innovations: the LYNX®, a multi-business Hypervision supervision and front-end PC, and the Roadside Unit and the Embedded Unit in NEXO® Vehicles, a V2X communication solution to support deployments of intelligent and cooperative transport systems.
