Payment terminal for STOP & GO tolls

FARECO has designed and manufactured a range of payment terminals suitable for all types of vehicles (motorcycles, cars, heavy goods vehicles, extra-wide tracks). These terminals allow rapid payment with several payment methods to streamline crossing toll stations or to manage entry to paying or private establishments.

Complete solution, simple integration

FARECO is a complete toll solution provider, but our payment terminals can also be easily integrated into other toll solutions thanks to an http and WebSocket interface.

Compartmented terminal, easy maintenance

To facilitate maintenance, the FARECO payment terminal is separated into two parts. The electronic part is separated from the electronic payment part, thus allowing faster interventions and securing electronic funds.

FARECO payment terminals accept several payment methods:

  • Coins with slot or bulk insertion (sorts 4 coins/second)
  • Give change and recycle coins and notes
  • Tracked, chip and contactless bank card
  • Contactless subscription card
  • Electronic toll collection
  • License plate recognition
  • Acknowledgment of debt

DACO

Automatic optical class detection system

The DACO system makes it possible to determine the class to which a vehicle belongs before it arrives at the payment terminal to display the corresponding price. It is compatible with all types of roads, including highways and national roads. It can also be installed at the entrance to private sites wishing to classify visitor vehicles.

Simple and precise operation

The DACO system is made up of two optical strips. When a vehicle passes between these, the sensors with which they are equipped carry out a profile analysis of the vehicle, a count of the number of axles as well as height measurements. This data will make it possible to determine the class of the vehicle to calculate the fare before going to the payment terminal. Our algorithms can be configured according to the different class criteria of each country.

Pre-classification and post-classification

Our DACO classification system can be installed upstream of the payment terminal (for an automatic terminal) or at the exit, to control the classification of the toll collector or distinguish vehicles in automatic lanes.
